Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 CODCasting Reveal
Games are often accused of repetitiousness and an unwillingness, at least amongst the top studios, to take creative risks and innovate. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Innovates
There needs to be innovation in gaming, and it needs to be at the top. Call of Duty has been accused of being a cash-cow for years, churning out the same old game, raking in the dough like it fell from trees. The reason for this accusation has been lack of innovation in the single player mode—as though that’s what the game is player for. Hopefully the critics of Call of Duty will now recognise the game’s creativity as it makes a massive innovation by making the player the star.
The majority of upgrades to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are in the line of new customization options and matchmaking systems. The innovation comes from the broadcasting features CODCasting, a system that allows an extra player to join in and commentate on the action. These changes are going to have a huge impact on Black Ops 2′s multiplayer.
