Top 20 Best True Story Films EVER — And 3 Amazingly Inaccurate Ones

Let’s face it, we all love movies based on true stories. Sure, the word “based” and “true” are more often than not used with a lot of artistic licence. While some movies stick absolutely to the true story, some “base” them so loosely on the truth that the only thing they get right about William Wallace is the fact that he was Scottish. Speaking of far-stretched true story films, here’s a look at three of the most ridiculous “true story” films of all time. OR you can check out the list of the best true story films right here. Three of the most ridiculous “True Story” films ever 3. Gladiator: All right, fine, so Gladiator’s an awesome film and gets away with most stuff. It’s still failed history though. Master in Philosophy Master Yoda’s Quotes from Star Wars

1x1.trans Master in Philosophy Master Yoda’s Quotes from Star Warsmovie features star wars                                         The trait of a truly great movie is to be able to be watched purely for fun, while also presenting meaningful meditations on life. I remember at acting school being told that it’s what a viewer takes away with them that matters, the inspiration they receive long after the actual movie is finished. I’m sure something similar is said at film school. It’s the second part of Star Wars, the philosophy, we’re looking at here, as we present the philosophy of Yoda in quotes. Yoda Quote 1: A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. Yoda’s beliefs state that a person should commit with all their mind to that which they believe in, as is stated Read more [...]

But what was the number one best movie poster of 2012? Find out as we dig into the top 20 movie posters of the year. The Top 20 Movie Posters of 2012 -- Posters 20 - 16 20: The Raven : The minimalistic use of colour in The Raven's poster makes it stick out like a sore thumb, especially among the bright, over-the-top posters of the year. The poster gives nothing more than a taster of the movie, making movie fans eager to learn more about the flick (which , unfortuantely, wasn't very good in the end).   19: Alex Cross: The way in which the image is framed with the body in this Alex Cross movie poster makes it stand out sharply. The grey tones and blue title add a cool / cold feeling to the poster.  18: The amazing Spiderman : Nothing clever about this poster. It's just a dinosaur eye ni your face. It's like wrapping a lump of coal in gold foil. The poster is dynamic and exciting; sadly, the movie was not.   9: Prometheus Speaking of disappointing movies with brilliant posters, here's Prometheus. The movie itself was utter trash (seriously, it barely even has an alien in it). SIGH. This poster, however, is a different story. The giant ominous head in the background creates an awesome impact.     8: The Life of Pi's Poster The Life of Pi is a story of discovery and escapism. This poster matches those themes perfectly.
