This awesome free game is a great exercise in critical thinking and spatial reasoning. The game tells you everything you need to know as you progress through it. Many of the levels will have you stumped for quite a while as you try to work out how to organise the grid and in due course exercise your brain! Awesome!
Electric Box 2: Spatial Reasoning / Critical Thinking Game
There are games that are relaxing, and then there are games that lull you into a meditative state of emptiness, where the day seems to melt into nothingness as you sit absorbed in a beautiful virtual world that slows your mind down and leads you to complete tranquillity. These games are rare; that’s why coming across this exquisite title, William and Sly, was such a treat.
Everything in William and Sly serves to slow you down and relax you. From the way the fox’s jump mimics slow breathing— jumping high and lightly, then softly coming back down—to the softness of the music, which melts like butter into the luscious forest background; William and Sly is a masterpiece; it’s a work of art, a relaxing, beautiful work of art.
It’s reassuring to know that this game will be here anytime we need to escape, anytime we need to fade away into nothingness, into a state that can only be described as OM.
Epic Battle Fantasy 3 is one of the most relaxing games you’re likely to find for free online. It’s beautifully presented, with gorgeous characters and lush green environments that really make you want to meld into the fantasy of the game world, and the music is so soft and gentle it’s sure to have you feeling relaxed in no time.
There’s quite a lot of story to Epic Battle Fantasy 3, and a lot of it is well written and entertaining for a free online game. You can, of course, skip the story and dive straight into the action if you want to.
All in all, Epic Battle Fantasy 3 is a treat to play and is sure to make you relax in as little as ten minutes. Dive straight into to it below and allow yourself to escape in the cutesy cartoon world for a short while. When you come back to reality you’ll be feeling much more relaxed I assure you.
Can games help develop your sense of humour? NotDoppler.com say “yes” and having played Hanger 2, we’d have to agree with them.
in Hanger 2 you play a guy swinging on ropes from one point to the next trying to avoid hitting rocks. What makes Hanger 2 so hilarious is that your little cartoon avatar gets completely destroyed when he hits surfaces, losing all his limbs. He continues to swing on even when he’s just a torso, committed to either making it to the end or having his body parts littered all over the level.
Through some magic (which you’ll surely note when you play it), hanger 2 seems to reassure us that life’s just a laugh as we keep on swinging from one point to the next. Play it and you’ll see what I mean.
Want to flex your creative thinking muscles whilst having some fun? Then this is the game for you.
Greens Survive only when Reds Die is a brilliant free game from game designer Alex Gagorodnii at Friedpixels. The premise of the game is that you must get the green men to the safe zone whilst killing the red men.
Greens Survive only when Reds Die exercises your brain in these key ways: [br] [br]
It develops your ability to spot a logical progression
It develops your creative thinking abilities by making you spot relationships between the position and movement of individual items (the men in the game). Essentially when we are thinking creatively we are comparing and connecting different items, which is the same premise as this game.
