The anger management sketch on WWE Raw this week was without doubt one of the funniest sketches in the history of Raw, for three reasons: it was excellently written and it featured two of the best story characters in the WWE.
Daniel Bryan and Kane had always been two of the funniest guys in the WWE. Who could forget, for instance, such funny moments as when Kane was in the locker rook with The Rock and hulk Hogan and came up with the term “Kane-anites” for instance? And of course, Daniel Bryan of late has been amazing. He was a highlight at Summerslam when he went completely nuts at the crowd and their “Yes” chant. But none of these moments have been as funny as this week’s Raw.
I would give my opinion on why this scene was so amazing. But let’s just allow Kane to explain it instead. . . go ahead, Kane. . tell us what makes you angry; we’re here to help.
Kane: I grew up locked in a basement suffering severe psychological and emotional scarring when my brother set my parents on fire. From there I sifted around among a series of mental institutions until I was grown, at which point I buried my brother alive. .. twice. Since then, I’ve set a couple of people on fire and abducted various co-workers. Oh, and I urrr once electrocuted a man’s testicles. Years ago I had a girlfriend called Katie but let’s just say that that didn’t turn out too well. My real father is a man called Paul Bearer, who I recently trapped in a meat locker. I’ve been married, divorced, broke up my ex wife’s wedding and tombstoned the priest. And for reasons never quite explained, I have an unhealthy obsession with tombstoning Pete Rose.
Kane. Thanks for sharing.
