About Body Image Eating is not a crime. It’s not a moral issue. It’s normal. It’s enjoyable. It just is. ~ Carrie Arnold Dieting is to overeating what caffeine is to chronic insomnia. ~ EatWhatYouLove How much free space would you have if you stopped being negative and/or obsessing about your body for a day? ~ HlthyGrl, about Body Image Art is not the application of a canon of beauty but what the instinct and the brain can conceive beyond any canon. When we love a woman we don’t start measuring her limbs. ~ Pablo Picasso, about Body Image It’s such a profound alienation for a person not to be at home in their own body. ~ Marilyn Wann When you ignore your belly, you become homeless. You spend your life trying to erase your own existence. Apologizing for yourself. Feeling like a ghost. You are beautiful! ~ Steve Maraboli I’ve never seen magazine covers or music videos and been like, “I need to look like that if I want to be a success.” I’ve never seen pictures of hot men and thought, “I have to change what I look like if I want to be with them.” I don’t even need to if I want to sell more records. It’s not stopping me from doing anything and I don’t find that kind of thing attractive. ~ Adele, about Body Image You are not your buttocks. ~ Kaz Cooke We don’t know who is healthy and who is not just by looking at their body shape. ~ Cheryl-Ann Webster NEXT
Marilyn Monroe is the ultimate celebrity for a body language example of the little-girl come-on women use to wrap men around their little finger.
This is a brilliant bad body language example as it shows so many great body language gestures. Essentially, the guy and girl are currently disinterested in each other. the guy is blaming the girl for something (thumb gesture). He’s also showing a desire to get away (his knee is pointing away). He’s feeling somewhat insecure though as he’s fidgeting. As for the girl, she’s got her body closed off to distance herself from him (arms folded and legs folded), she’d rather be elsewhere (body pointing away) and she’s trying to distract herself (the head and eye positions suggest she’s thinking to herself).
